Nose and Tasting Notes

Our 100% rye whiskey is crafted from traditionally grown rye, exclusively cultivated on the Omlin family farm in Quincy, Washington. We then mash and distill the rye at our Woodinville distillery before transporting it back over the Cascade Mountains for barreling and aging in our private barrel houses. The extreme temperature cycles of central Washington enhance the natural flavors of the oak barrel wood. Prior to coopering the barrels, the wood is seasoned for 18 months in open air, rain, wind, sun, and snow, resulting in the perfect balance of flavors. Our barrels are deeply toasted and heavily charred to enrich the wood's desirable characteristics.
