This barrel, #0013, is aged in new American oak and finished in barrels seasoned with Egyptian black honey, bottled at 102.6 proof (51.3% ABV). The nose opens with rye spice, honey, and toasted oak alongside caramel and dried fruit, while the palate layers black honey sweetness with baking spice, vanilla, dark caramel, and roasted nuts over a structured oak backbone. The finish is long and warming, carrying spiced honey and peppery rye through to the end. This is a limited, collector-focused release best enjoyed neat in a proper whiskey glass to appreciate its full complexity.
