Wente Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc Louis Mel 2018

Medium lemon colour. Medium nose with lemon zest, green melon, grapefruit, green apples and minerals. Medium taste of green melon, green apples, grapefruit, lemon zest, minerals and peach. Medium (+) long and dry finish. Medium acidity. Medium body. A good and warm Sauvignon Blanc with a small percentage of Gewürztraminer and Semillon. The nose is lively with citrus to begin and some layered complexity that is a welcomed surprise. The palate is vibrant with the same citrus zing as noticed on the nose. The mouthfeel is smooth and spreads nicely through the palate.
