Blue Heron is crafted using the age-old German sweet reserve style of winemaking which consists of reserving some of the fresh juice of the harvest. Just before bottling, this fresh juice is added to the wine which naturally sweetens it and lowers the alcohol content to 9%. The result is a soft and semi-sweet wine that serves as an alluring companion to a wide variety of light foods. Serve Blue Heron chilled as a pleasing beverage for social gatherings.
