This Alexander Valley Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is hand-sorted and cold-soaked before fermentation, then aged 20 months in French oak, 75% new, to build real depth. The result is a full-bodied, elegant wine with layered aromas of cassis, dark chocolate, leather, and cola. On the palate, concentrated dark berry flavors meet espresso, anise, and vanilla bean, carrying through to a long, smooth finish. It's an excellent match for beef, venison, lamb, dark chocolate, or aged cheeses.
