Planteray Jamaica 2007 Vintage Rum (bottled as Plantation prior to the brand's 2024 rename) is a single-vintage rum distilled in 2007 at Jamaica's Clarendon distillery. It spent 13 years maturing on the island before a two-year finishing period in French Cognac casks, a combination that builds real depth onto Clarendon's distinctive style. Powerful mango and melon notes lead the way, wrapped in vanilla and cinnamon, with the island's signature funk showing through underneath the fruit. The finish is exceptionally long, carrying the fruit and spice well past the last sip. Bottled from a single vintage year in limited quantity, it's a rum for patient, neat tasting rather than mixing. 48.4% ABV, 750ml.
