Planteray Extreme No. 3 ITP (bottled under the Plantation name prior to the 2024 Planteray rebrand) is a 22-year-old Jamaican rum distilled in 1996 at the Long Pond distillery from the ITP marque, paired with the brand's double-maturation approach of tropical aging followed by a Cognac cask finish. Bottled at cask strength, 54.8% ABV, it opens with ripe banana, mango, and tropical fruit alongside a touch of glue and light solvent typical of Long Pond's high-ester rums. The Cognac finish rounds things out with oak, spice, and coffee, closing on a dry, almost brandy-like note. It's the gentler, fruit-forward counterpart to the HJC marque in this limited Extreme No. 3 release, and it rewards slow, neat sipping over mixing. 750ml.
