Winemaker Notes: This Pineau des Charentes is produced in very limited quantities. After several years of ageing in oak barrels, Chateau d’Orignac reaches a harmonious balance and fullness. It has a beautiful amber color with hints of gold which reveals subtle aromas of apricot, honey and raisin. Its sweet taste is a charming and elegant balance of grape juice flavors and stellar aromas. Served as an aperitif, it is also delicious with blue cheeses such as Roquefort, fruit-based desserts and chocolate.
