Mercury Head Cabernet Sauvignon is a flagship wine and emphasizes this guiding principle: Without quality grapes, great wine is impossible. It comes from the best lots from very select vineyards in Napa Valley and the wine is a testament to those vineyards, to that principle and to what is possible in Napa Valley. The Liberty Dime on each bottle symbolizes Dave Phinney's favorite coin in his collection growing up and his most prized possession.

Nose 

The nose is chock-full of aromatics—blue fruits, blackcurrant, licorice, baking spices, lavender and crushed gravel. 

Taste Notes

Paired with a flooding palate with tremendous yet balanced weight, notes of blackberry, dark chocolate, espresso bean and blue and black fruits reverberate. A blueberry reduction coupled with chalky tannins leads to a long finish with hints of Herbs de Provence.
