Wine Spectator 93 points - Graphite and spice notes lace the creamed white cherry and strawberry fruit flavors of this firm and finely meshed rose. Lacy in texture, with a minerally underpinning and accents of herb and anise on the lasting finish. Disgorged February 2018. Drink now through 2029..December/2019 Vinous 91 points - Like the Blanc, the 2012 Grand Vintage Rose is tightly wound and reticent. Bright red cherry, cranberry, rose petal, cedar, flowers, mint and crushed rocks are all laced together in this finely sculpted Champagne. Readers should be prepared to cellar the 2012 for at least a few years, as it is nowhere near ready to drink. The blend is 42% Pinot Noir (of which 13% is still red Pinot), 35% Chardonnay and 23% Meunier..July/2019 Wine Advocate 90 points - Disgorged in February 2018 with five grams per liter dosage, the 2012 Extra Brut Grand Vintage Rose bursts with expressive aromas of cherries, red berries, peaches and marzipan. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, with a similarly broad and fleshy profile to its white counterpart, but with more phenolic structure from the 13% still Pinot Noir in the blend, which lends it a seemingly drier, chalkier finish even though the two cuvees saw the same dosage. The more-concentrated regular Extra Brut has the edge over the Rose, but this is a creditable effort..April/2019
