Louis Jadot Macon Villages

A clean, fresh Chardonnay with typical varietal fragrance and elegant, citrus and white fruit flavors (peaches and nectarines) on the palate. Vinified without oak contact, the delicate acid balance carries into a refreshing, crisp finish. Pairs well with grilled red tuna fish, grilled salmon, tataki beef, terrines, (rabbit, porc), moussaka, veal liver, fondue bourguignonne, tartar steak, roasted veal, duck breast salad, roasted guinea fowl, hard cheese. This wine are made from Chardonnay. The limestone subsoil of the Monts du Mâconnais are ideal for growing the Chardonnay grapes. Some small areas produce exceptional wines. The Louis Jadot Mâcon Blanc Villages is made from grapes from these different areas.
