Johnny's Gin

Product Highlights

Johnny's Gin from Detroit City Distillery takes a classic London dry gin and gives it an unexpected twist: a rest in the distillery's own award-winning Homegrown Rye whiskey barrels. The result is a citrus-forward gin with the bright juniper and botanical backbone of the London dry style, rounded out by the subtle warmth and spice picked up from the rye barrels. Distilled and bottled by Detroit City Distillery in Detroit, Michigan, it's bottled at 44% ABV (88 proof). The barrel rest gives it enough depth to stand up well in a gin Old Fashioned or a barrel-aged Negroni, while its citrus character still makes it a great fit for a classic gin and tonic. A distinctive, Detroit-made gin for anyone who wants their G&T with a little extra backstory.
