From the Reserve blocks of this Oakville Estate, Groth Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve embodies the pinnacle of our winemaking efforts. When the Groth family acquired this property in 1981, it was clear that certain Cabernet lots from the western edge displayed unique and intriguing characteristics, deserving of their own bottling. This wine boasts a deep and pure ruby color, with enticing aromas of boysenberry and blueberry pie, complemented by notes of pastry cream, toast, and menthol. On the palate, the tannins are supple and smooth, delivering flavors of blueberry and blackberry, followed by chocolate-covered cherries and a fruit-driven finish.
