The vodka production is overseen by cellar master Francois Thibault, who sourced lemons from Menton in France, where the distinct fruit earns its own festival each year. The lemons are concentrated into an oil extract, where the true flavor of this type of lemon is preserved. Blended with other flavors, Le Citron has an aroma of citrus flower and the leaf of the lemon tree. It has notes of fruitiness with a warm richness almost of orange. Grey Goose puts the citrus flavor together with its vodka by using pure spring water filtered through champagne limestone.
