Green River Wheated Bourbon is a 90 proof whiskey that is aged for over five years at the Owensboro distillery. It boasts a deep amber color and is made with Kentucky-grown corn, primarily from Daviess County. The mash bill is made up of 70% corn, 21% winter rye, and 9% malted 2 and 6-row barley, resulting in a bourbon with a spicy aroma and taste. Notes of cinnamon, dried cherry, and light leather can also be detected. The taste profile includes hints of cinnamon, vanilla, caramel, and chocolate mint. The finish is full-bodied and long-lasting.
