Nose & Taste Notes

Established in 1973, Franciscan has a rich history of producing meticulously-crafted wines. Their main vineyard, situated in Oakville at the center of Napa Valley, spans 240 acres of land with well-draining, loamy, and gravelly soil that imparts structure to their wines. Following handpicking, each batch of grapes is assigned its own tank and kept separate until just before bottling. This cabernet sauvignon boasts a bouquet of juicy berries, hazelnut, and vanilla, followed by flavors of fruit, vanilla, clove, and tobacco. The result is a smooth, velvety finish.
