'The Dreamer' is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the 2022 vintage, aged for 35 months in exclusively new French oak barrels. Fortunate Son selected the barrel staves by hand for their ultra-tight grain, air-drying the wood for three years before cooperage, a level of attention that few producers apply to their oak program. That extended aging shows in the glass: rich dark fruit notes of blackberry and plum are layered with subtle oak spice, carried by a velvety texture that lingers beautifully on the finish. The wine has real structure and sophistication without losing its fruit-forward character. It's built to age gracefully in the cellar, but it also drinks well now alongside premium cuisine.
