Folie A Deux Merlot Alexander Valley

Deliciously approachable with vibrant, ripe black cherry flavors, accented by notes of toasted caramel and vanilla, with smooth, well-structured tannins. Bright, enticing dark berry, blueberry and plum notes with dried tea characteristics and hints of graphite on the nose. A lavish layer of velvety tannins and firm, persistent acidity coats the mouth.  With a soft, moderate structure and light style, this is a well-integrated red that has balanced oak and tannin. Clove, cedar and forest notes season a core of plum and dark cherry, finished by a pleasing jolt of vanilla.
