El Dorado 8 Year Old blends aged rums from four of Demerara Distillers' traditional stills, including the original Wooden Coffey Still from Enmore and the double Wooden Pot Still from Port Mourant. The nose carries tobacco and caramel toffee with faint dried stone fruit and flambéed banana, while the palate is soft and faintly sweet, touched by oak and butterscotch for a distinctly smooth finish. Bottled at 40% ABV, it's a sumptuous sipping rum that also holds its own in cocktails. A well-rounded expression from one of Guyana's most storied distilleries.
