Building on knowledge gained from their J. Davies Cabernet Sauvignon from the Diamond Mountain estate, this bottling explores a broader swath of Napa Valley through a diverse blend of vineyards spanning the valley floor and both the Mayacamas and Vaca mountain ranges. The 2019 vintage opens with bountiful aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry, and raspberry compote, with light notes of vanilla, anise, and coffee bean. Integrated tannins anchor the palate, carrying flavors of dense blueberry and dark chocolate alongside hints of vanilla and white pepper, leading to a youthful finish. This is a layered, balanced Cabernet that reflects the Davies family's deep winemaking experience. It pairs beautifully with beef, lamb, rich desserts, or hard cheese.
