Casillero del Diablo Carmenere is a dark and deep purple colored wine, displaying very expressive fruit with intense ripe berries and blackberries that meld with delicate hints of coffee and toast from barrel aging. Plum, blackberries, and spice show through on the palate with polished tannins. This wine concludes with a concentrated, rich finish. Pairs well with smoked or roasted dark meat and pork, spicy dishes and hard cheeses.
