The potatoes used to produce this vodka, were grown in 2016 and picked earlier than usual. After distillation, the vodka was rested for two years in fifty-year-old Polish oak barrels. This results in a very exquisite vodka. Incredibly subtle hints of sweet sugars and earthiness mingle with anise and oak. The mouthfeel is perfect. The vodka is crisp and clean without being a bore. A real gem. A delicate earthy sweetness followed by understated notes of licorice and clove.
