Product Highlights
Chateau Dauzac is a classified growth estate spanning 42 hectares of deep gravel soils in Margaux. The vineyard comprises 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, and 2% Petit-Verdot, planted at 10,000 vines per hectare with an average age of 35–40 years. Hand-harvested grapes are sorted before and after de-stemming, then fermented in wooden vats at 28°C using gravity-flow vatting. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged for 15 months in 100% French oak barrels, with 65% new oak, racked according to tasting results. The result is a structured, elegant Margaux with depth and aging potential. Pair with grilled eggplant, venison, blue cheese, roast lamb, and beef.
