Cakebread Cellars Chardonnay Napa, 2022

Grown in the cool Carneros conditions that maintain excellent balance between fruit characters and acidity in grapes. It is fermented and aged in French oak barrels, and left on the yeast lees for months to enhance texture and complexity.

Nose

Floral aromas mingle with fresh citrus, orange blossom, and white peach characters, and the palate is weighty yet balanced, with a mouth-coating texture and a clean, mineral finish.

Taste Notes

A wonderful array of flavors that include apple, citrus, and pear, balanced with a refreshing acidity. A long, yet clean, finish, invoking hints of minerality, vanilla, and lemon.
