Earthy, slightly mulchy berry aromas come with a note of black olive and tomato. A full palate maintains a stout feel, while this Malbec deals short black-fruit flavors, with herbal overtones and savory notes. A fleshy finish holds onto the wine’s herbal tomato character. The floral, open and expressive 2018 Año Cero Malbec had a clean, varietal nose and a medium-bodied palate with very fine tannins and a soft mouthfeel. It fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete vats, and one-third of the volume matured in French and American oak barrels for ten months. It's quite fruit driven and juicy, with a soft, caressing texture.
