1800 Coconut Tequila is made from 100% Blue Agave Tequila and is triple distilled. It is infused with fresh coconut water for an amazingly smooth taste. Smooth and medium bodied with sweet notes of coconut in the finish. 1800 is aged (rested) in primarily American Oak barrels with a small amount of French Oak for about 15 days. To true Silver Tequila fans any contact with wood is anathema, but this tequila has one of the shorter stays. It is made from 100% Agave- which is unusual for this this price- most of the tequila you find at this price (and certainly below) is not 100% agave but blended tequila- the stuff that all those college tequila stories are made of. Other versions are 100 proof Silver, the slightly older 1800 Reposado and their older brother 1800 Anejo , and some older limited editions we have not been able to review as yet.
