Light and delicate with a candy sweetness which is peppered with hints of pine. Lemon sherbet, pineapple and crunchy green apples with a touch of freshly baked sponge cake. Tomatin's Dualchas Single Malt scotch is considered to be a lighter styled scotch (at least for the highlands) and aged in virgin oak, meaning barrels that haven't been used in other spirits prior to the introduction of the scotch (versus the majority of scotch that uses ex-bourbon or ex-sherry casks).
