Massaya Le Colombier 2018

The Massaya winery and vineyards are nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean, producing a wide range of unique wines. This is an easy-drinking, unoaked blend of Cinsault, Grenache, and Syrah with fresh ripe raspberries on the nose and plush red fruits on the palate. A ripe-fruited Lebanese red, made with a third each of cinsault and grenache with the rest divided between the charms of syrah and tempranillo. The resulting blend is a fragrantly spicy, rich and smooth delight, with attractive quince-fruit notes. Rich aromas of morello cherry, cassis and spice to the fore. Concentrated and ripe, with plenty of perfumed, parma-violet character, fine tannins and an excellent length.
