From the winemaker: The 2011 McManis Family Vineyards Merlot is deep purple in color and is filled with pleasant scents of strawberry preserve and fresh cherry. Subtle notes of vanilla and caramel are contributed from the wine's time on oak. The bold yet round wine achieves a superb balance of fruit and oak flavors.
